Little Royals Saga is a video game concept with narrative illustrations and game interface that are inspired by traditional Southeast Asian games. By bringing up the idea of traditional Southeast Asian games in modern video games, the goal of the project is to encourage conversations between different generations. Especially in families, where different generations live together.
Synopsis:
Balance is an important aspect to achieve time harmony. Sun and Moon are more than just objects in the sky. They are The Royals who give signs for seasons, days and moments.
In the rare occasion, Little King Sun and Little Empress Moon will separate from their core task and have a special mission with The Guardians, Father Time and Mother Earth. It was called “the Unstable Impetus”. It is caused by the compulsory tasks of The Guardians need to govern, both of them missing each other desperately every millennial year. Not only that, a lot of problems happen on the earth that causes an unstable lifestyle of the islander on Earth. Either they toil too hard, or they lacking the energy to be productive. When the unstable time happen on the earth, The Rulers of each island growing strong with negative energy and will challenge the Little Royals with their Traditional game island.
Which is why Father Time gives Little King Sun and Little Empress Moon task to bring balance to the earth. On account of the mission, Little King Sun and Little Empress Moon volunteer themselves to go to the earth by gathering “Nostalgia” from each Island and bring balance back to the earth.
